Situated on the banks of Peter’s Creek along the northwest edge of Winston-Salem’s historic West End neighborhood, West End Mill Works (aka the Mill) brings the forces of historic preservation, cultural action, and entrepreneurial spirit together for the creative benefit of our local community.

The wooden mill building with its distinctive cupola and the neighboring brick warehouse were formerly a part of the Hoots Roller Mill Co. — a flour mill which served this community for much of the early 20th century. Now they are home to a handful of innovating artists and craftspeople as well as some of most exciting and creative new businesses and organizations in town, including: Hoots Roller Bar & Beer Co., Eight Points Muay Thai, The Porch, The Breathing Room, The Olio & Sutler’s Spirits.
